How Leisa Stuffs Peppers Recipe

My wife hates stuffed peppers, but she doesn't count here! I love them, and well, I love this recipe by Leisa C. Sinard. We acquired it along with a number of yummy delights while we were pastoring at Newport, Tennessee. I think you will like this one! Thanks Leisa!

Ingredients

• 5 green peppers
• I small onion, diced
• 1 large tomato, chopped
• I tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp pepper
• 1/4 c. bread crumbs
• 1/2 C. cooked rice
• 1/3 c. milk
• 1/2 lb. hamburger

What to do!

• Parboil or leach peppers for 15 minutes in slightly salted water.
• Hold milk separate, but mix other ingredients for stuffing in a large bowl until well mixed.
• Now, add milk and mix again.
• Drain peppers.
• Stuff peppers with mixture.
  
• Bake in a slightly greased pan @ 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
• Garnish with cheddar cheese!
• Delicious
